Wellbeing in the workplace - Supporting colleagues through traumatic life events
Good mental health and wellbeing are essential for employees in order for them to reach their full potential and to participate productively both at work and in their communities. Being able to demonstrate resilience in the face of stress and adversity is not so easy for everyone, especially those who have experienced a traumatic event.
Around 70% of people globally will experience a potentially traumatic event during their lifetime, and 5.6% will go on to develop PTSD.
