A huge spring of fundraising 💜

Imogen and her opponent posing for a friendly picture before the MMA Fight

This spring has been nothing short of incredible.

Across the country, our supporters have shown up with determination, creativity, and serious stamina. They took on personal challenges, pushed their limits and raised funds to support our work. Community fundraising keeps our helpline open, a lifeline for so many survivors.

Here’s a glimpse of what our runners, walkers and fighters achieved this spring (check out the picture gallery below):

Three brilliant runners smashed the London Marathon, joining thousands in one of the UK’s most iconic races. Hayley laced up again for the Robert Burrow Leeds Marathon, after already running a marathon for us last year — we love that energy and commitment. Imogen stepped into the ring for an MMA fight. Lauren and Tabitha walked an amazing 23 miles in the Kiltwalk. We’re overwhelmed by so much commitment and want to say a huge Thank You! You’re all incredible!

Our Fundraising Officer Eleanor shared: “It’s a privilege to hear about the incredible, inspiring and deeply moving stories shared by our fundraisers across the country. Each and every person who chooses to support our charity has their own reason for doing so, yet they all bring the same determination to fight for justice, change and healing. Their energy is electric, their enthusiasm contagious, and I feel lucky to play even a small part in their fundraising journey.”

Every mile, every step, every punch (!) helps raise awareness of our work and ensures we can continue to support survivors.

This is what it looks like when a community comes together — people giving their time, their energy, and often pushing themselves far outside their comfort zones for a cause they believe in.

We’re so proud of everyone who took part, and deeply grateful to everyone who supported them along the way — whether through donations, encouragement, or cheering from the sidelines. You all matter!

We couldn’t do this without you. 💜

If you have a fundraising idea or might want to fundraise in your own way, we have just the page for you. Or you can contact Eleanor directly at fundraising@thesurvivorstrust.org and she’ll help you every step of the way.
