Happy Birthday to our CEO Fay Maxted!

Happy Birthday to our wonderful CEO Fay Maxted!

Fay is the life and soul of The Survivors Trust. She began her career working with survivors of sexual violence 20 years ago. Before becoming the CEO of The Survivors Trust in 2004, Fay was a counsellor and manager at a specialist sexual violence support service. During her time at The Survivors Trust Fay has project managed the set-up of five new rape support centres, developed accredited training for Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs) and ISVA Service Managers, and advised and contributed towards a range of panels and committees including the Home Office and Department of Health. In 2015 Fay was awarded an OBE in the 2015 Queen’s Birthday Honours List in recognition of her work promoting survivors’ rights.
