#Empowering: On‑demand recordings now available to support survivors

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery, we’re delighted to release our first set of on‑demand recordings for survivors as part of our #Empowering work. These guided meditations were created directly in response to what participants in our yoga, crafts and meditation groups told us they needed: accessible, grounding practices they could return to anytime. This first release includes four calming guided meditations led by Nyah, who also delivers our weekly live meditation sessions, with more recordings to come.

Survivors who take part in our wellbeing groups have consistently shared how valuable these sessions are, and asked whether it was possible to revisit them for extra grounding and support. We listened to this feedback. And thanks to generous funding from The National Lottery, we’ve now been able to create and release a first collection of on‑demand empowering recordings for survivors.

We’re thrilled to share the first four: a set of gentle, grounding guided meditations led by Nyah, whose weekly sessions have become a key source of calm and connection for many survivors. These new on‑demand meditations mean people can access support whenever they need it — whether that’s managing anxiety, finding a moment of stillness, or reconnecting with themselves.

This project came directly from survivors’ requests. Participants in our weekly yoga, crafts and meditation groups told us that having recordings would help them practice at their own pace and in their own environment. More wellbeing recordings and resources will continue to be added over time as part of our commitment to creating accessible, trauma‑informed support for every survivor, their loved ones, and professionals.

We’re incredibly pleased to make this survivor‑led resource available, and we look forward to expanding our on‑demand wellbeing library in the months ahead. Find more resources on this website under ‘Helpful Resources’ in the top bar, as well as our stand-alone resources website designed by survivors for survivors.
