Introduction

Nexus has almost 40 years’ experience offering a specialised professional counselling service to people impacted by sexual abuse and abusive relationships. We provide support to anyone impacted by sexual abuse from age 8 and upwards. Anyone else impacted by abusive relationships/domestic abuse can access support via the Domestic and Sexual Abuse Helpline on 0808 802 1414 or via dsahelpline.org.

We also provide training and educational workshops across Northern Ireland as part of our Early Intervention and Prevention Services on topics such as consent, relationship and sexuality education, internet safety and child sexual exploitation.

Nexus aftercare services are a set of services available to people aged 16 and over across Northern Ireland who have completed their counselling or group support journey with us. These aftercare services are funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and are under a programme called RESET. RESET is the next step in your recovery journey; a one-of-a-kind programme that is tailored to your needs to help you thrive.
