Introduction

Led by women with lived experience of sexual trauma, GINA is a social enterprise & CIC providing immediate specialist counselling, bespoke products/resources & volunteering opportunities for women (aged 18 & over) subjected to sexual violence & abuse. GINA provides immediate in-person, online & telephone counselling (contrasting lengthy waiting lists associated with organisations providing free support). There is no equivalent UK private, specialist, rape crisis organisation.

GINA is the sister organisation of Rape & Sexual Violence Project (RSVP), a Birmingham-based charity providing free sexual abuse support services. All GINA surplus is donated to sister organisation RSVP to also help fund free support services for individuals in the community who need them.

GINA continues to ensure women subjected to sexual violence & abuse are heard, believed, understood & supported.
