Description of agency: ANBU UK supports survivors of childhood sexual abuse in the Tamil community. We envision a future where Tamil people who have been impacted by childhood sexual abuse can find their voice.

We care for families affected by CSA and those families who are victims of indecent images of children (IVOII). We provide trauma informed therapeutic and counselling support to come alongside parents, carers and families through some of their toughest times. Our goal is to help parents and families re-emerge into life full of hope and excited about their future.

CIS’ters is a survivor-led group for women who, as female children/teens, were raped/sexually abused by a member of their immediate/extended family.

Founded in 1994 and based in Dundee, Scotland, Eighteen and Under provides long-term support and information to young people who have been abused in any way. Mainly we work with young survivors of sexual abuse.  We are able to support young people face to face in Dundee and nearby areas, and we can support young people who live further away via text, email and our online forum.

At if Only… we post regular messages of support and encouragement  (via social media) to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. We research and review resources to post on our website for signposting survivors on their healing journey.

MAIRSINN is a charity in Dundee, Scotland. We exist to provide a highly confidential support service to anyone who has experienced ritual or ritualised abuse, or who has experienced childhood trauma resulting in a dissociative condition.

MAIRSINN offers support mainly by facilitating safe spaces for people to find information and connection. We host 2 online forums which offer peer – peer support and have many years worth of information

MAIRSINN also offers 1-1 support using Email or the messaging system on our RANS forum

In addition to providing support we work to increase awareness of ritual abuse and dissociation with policy makers, statutory bodies and other third sector agencies.

Respond works with children and adults with learning disabilities who have experienced abuse or trauma, as well as those who have abused others, through psychotherapy, advocacy, campaigning and other support. Respond also aims to prevent abuse by providing training, consultancy and research.

Restitute CIC is a lived experience organisation supporting parents, carers, partners, loved ones and anyone else with caring responsibilities for survivors of sexual abuse, sexual violence and other serious violence.

We support anyone who cares for or cares about someone who has survived sexual abuse, sexual violence or other serious violence. We work through a lead carer within the family to ensure that everyone in the family unit is supported, including siblings.

Safer Waves supports merchant seafarers who have experienced sexual violence or gender-based discrimination. We provide emotional support and information via our website and our anonymous email support service. Our email support service is available to all merchant seafarers regardless of gender, nationality or rank.

Seen & Heard support the wellbeing of past and present pupils of boarding and independent day schools, and their families. All services are provided online to adults 18+

Sift (previously Self injury Support) is a national charity that offers confidential, non-directive and non-judgmental emotional support to people who are affected by self-harm.

Confidential emotional support to children, young adults and adults by telephone, email and post.

SupportLine is particularly aimed at those who are isolated, at risk, vulnerable and victims of any form of abuse and specialises in providing emotional support for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and anyone who has been raped/sexually assaulted.

Survivors Manchester exists to break the silence of the sexual abuse and rape of men in order to empower those affected to defeat the legacy of abuse and move towards positive futures.

SurvivorsUK helps to support men, boys, and non-binary people aged 13+ who have experienced sexual violence. We provide one-to-one counselling services (delivered face to face, by telephone and online), groupwork counselling, an independent sexual violence advisor (ISVA) service, an online national helpline, and a civil law clinic.

SurvivorsUK also supplies training to counsellors and frontline workers likely to come into contact with this client group to ensure a robust and sensitive service provision is widely available.
