About the APPG

The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on the Survivors of Mohamed Fayed and Harrods is a cross-party group of MPs that works to address the abuse associated with Harrods and its former owner.

The Survivors Trust were approached for our support because of our expertise in understanding institutional abuse, cover-ups, and advising on effective responses which put survivors at the centre. We are the only survivor charity that is supporting the APPG.

We are aware of more than 480 survivors and there will be more. We are committed to helping each survivor achieve some form of recognition and accountability for the harm they have endured. And we recognise that this looks different for everyone.

The APPG as a whole exists to amplify the voices of survivors in Parliament, push for transparency and accountability, and scrutinise ongoing investigations. It also seeks to uncover wider systemic failures and drive improvements in safeguarding, ensuring lessons are learned and lasting change is achieved.
